It is September and in recent months a new direction for Food Font has developed.
At this time, it has become clear that creating our own tool will be difficult with current funding and staffing , so we are looking to partner with other digital design tools that can work with the Food Font image library.
In recent monthes, I have been editing and preparing the many letters and alphabets made so far as part of Food Font. It has been amazing and rewarding to be preparing the alphabet letters.
Future Direction of Food Font is to :
Finish all the alphabet and letter preparation
Create alphabet libraries for downloads
Create alphabet printable pages for downloads (good for paper cut and paste projects)
Pursue partnering with other digital online tools – that can work with Food Font letters
I am very excited with this change, and feel that this will still meet the objectives of the project – and will get Food Font out into the community!
